Hannah’s dream is to work in an international nonprofit in Africa, focusing on refugee services and community health. When she’s not in the NLA office, you can find Hannah as a Campus Ministry Member at SALT Company, as a member for RISE, or helping you get back on track as a Career Guide at UNI Career Services.

Sam hopes to continue her career into the nonprofit sector, especially working with children. She’s got a good start on that, as her free time is spent as Morale Captain with UNI Dance Marathon.

Josie’s goal is to work for a nonprofit in environmental conservation, with illustration and printmaking in her free time. When she’s not stuck in the art building, Josie helps lead retreats at St. Stephen’s Student Center and with UNI Dance Marathon.

Kyle hopes to continue his passion for his faith into a career, and work with a faith-based nonprofit. He currently plans “the fun stuff” at St. Stephen’s Student Center as a Community Life Peer Minister, busts a move at UNI Dance Marathon, and plays in intramurals.

katelyn brockmeyer: director of resource management


Art History: Museum Studies Certificate

Katelyn is ultra-passionate about social and political activism, and loves to use art to unite people of all different demographics. She’s hoping to fulfill this by working at a nonprofit art center. Katelyn’s already doing it all by being an Art Department Peer Mentor and TA, participating in Phi Sigma Eta honors fraternity, and as a social justice activist.

Jessica is a talented marketing major, who’s excited to use her skills to work in an International Nonprofit. She’s using the leadership styles gained in NLA to her best advantage, as she’s excited to work towards a Marketing Director’s position.

Angela isn’t sure where future careers are going to take her, but she’s made herself busy in the meantime! She serves as Director of Administration for UNI-TAG, is part of the Political Science Academy, Trio SSS and is the Arc of Marshall County.

Political Science

Micah doesn’t have a set plan for after graduation, but hopes to work on a presidential campaign! She’s building up her likelihood of this by being part of a campus campaign, and running as Vice President. Micah is also on the Exec team for UNI Proud and participating in UNI’s Model United Nations team.
